Eye 2 Eye Vision Center COVID-19 Update

Eye 2 Eye Vision Center

March 31, 2020

Governor Ralph Northam and Dr. Norm Oliver, Commissioner of the Virginia Department of Health, declared an Order of Public Health Emergency to Shelter in Place until June 10th. The Order is mandatory and carries with it the effect of the law. We took proactive action and have been closed since March 17th.

As Optometrists, per CDC guidelines, this means that we are prohibited from doing elective procedures/visits and general eye health examinations unless the visit constitutes an ocular emergency.

We will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for curbside pick up of contact lens, eyeglasses, tears or supplements. Other pick up arrangements can be made, or we can deliver to your door if needed. Aside from emergencies, our doors will remain closed. We also offer Tele-Medicine to be able to deal with most eye emergencies. Please text or call (757) 259-2300

We can FREE SHIP contact lenses directly to your door if you are in need of more lenses. Please text us @ 7572592300

We are scheduling and rescheduling to dates beyond June 10th.

We are also responding to text messages on a daily basis and returning phone calls as soon as we can. If you need to schedule an appointment in May, please text us or go to our website www.eye2eyevisioncenter.net and use the scheduling link provided.

Please take the Stay at Home orders seriously. We all need to work together to get through this sooner than later and most importantly, we need to keep the burden off of the Hospitals and all of the front-line workers.

We appreciate your understanding during this unprecedented time and look forward to “seeing” you as soon as we can. In the meantime, stay healthy and safe!
